Inside Advertising Speakers Program (IASP)

Offering a powerful partnership between industry and academia, AEF’s Inside Advertising Speakers Program sends advertising and marketing practitioners onto college campuses nationwide to engage with students and faculty.

This academic year, AEF speakers participated in more than 160 programs, covering such topics as multicultural advertising, advertising ethics, gender portrayals and digital/analytics. Speakers are carefully chosen and programs customized to meet mutual objectives.

Our speakers enjoy the opportunity to make connections with bright college students. This valuable personal interaction goes a long way toward attracting new and diverse talent to the industry. In addition, these sessions validate what students learn from their textbooks and illustrate how course material applies to the real world. It is a rare opportunity for students to ask questions and it opens the eyes of those who may have never considered advertising or marketing as a career.

There is no financial obligation to the host school unless an overnight stay is required. Otherwise, the speaker donates their time, expertise and travel expense.

In partnership with the ANA, the AEF has launched the CMO Talent Challenge to inspire CMOs of top companies to commit to the education of students through campus visits.
