MADE Summer Web Series
Throughout the summer we will feature live web sessions with leaders in the marketing and advertising industry. Top executives will share their insights and advice to students as they take the first steps in their careers. Every session will feature a Q&A segment so be prepared to come off mute to talk directly to a CMO, agency leader or recruiter!
If you weren’t able to attend a particular session, don’t worry – everything has been recorded and archived on our site for full access.

MADE Summer Web Series 2021 Schedule

AEF x IBM Case Competition
Gain hands-on marketing & advertising experience with one of the world’s leading technology companies. During this competition, you’ll have the opportunity flex your creative skills and work on a team to help IBM bring their client success stories to life through campaigns, brand activations and marketing strategies.
This is a phenomenal opportunity to build your network & resume, practice your public speaking and time management skills, and get directly in front of executives and recruiters at IBM.
Kick-off session: August 3rd from 3-4pm ET
First round of presentations: August 11th – each team will have 10 minutes to pitch their idea. Time slots will be assigned at a later date.
Final presentations: August 12th from 3-4pm ET.

MADE Mentorship Matching Program
We know that breaking into the industry can be hard, so MADE is offering the opportunity to connect with someone who’s actually done it.
From brand strategy to creative direction to media planning to data analytics, MADE mentors represent a wide range of focus areas and companies within the marketing & advertising industry. If you’d like to be virtually paired with someone this summer for career advice, inspiration or to make a friend in the industry, apply here. The deadline to apply is May 15th. If you have been accepted into the program, you will be notified by May 28th with your match. Please note, capacity is extremely limited. While we can’t promise to accept everyone into the program and match them with a mentor, we will do our absolute best.

Certificated ANA Marketing Student (CAMS) Online Course
This complimentary on-demand course designed by the ANA will help you develop the skills needed to be successful in today’s fast-paced industry. Courses are led by industry practitioners and topics include the marketing process from understanding the customer, brand-building, brand activation, creative briefing and evaluation, and marketing implementation across digital and analytic applications. This program is 100% online, self-paced and accessible anytime, anywhere. Once completed, you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion, a digital badge from the ANA, and the foundation for a successful career in marketing.
The number of spots are limited and are on a first-come, first-serve basis. To reserve a spot, sign up here by May 25th. Only students using a .edu address will be accepted. If you’ve been admitted into the course, you will receive registration instructions by May 28th. You will have from June 1st – September 1st to complete the program.
