Senior Manager, Talent Programs
Position Summary
The ANA Educational Foundation (AEF) is seeking a Senior Manager, Talent Programs to help push forward our mission of connecting the advertising, marketing, and academic communities to educate and inspire the next generation of talent. Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent Programs, the Senior Manager’s main responsibility is to help drive impact of critical AEF talent programs such as: Campus Speakers Programs (including Masters of Marketing on Campus Speakers and Project Homecoming), the Marketing and Advertising Education (MADE) Internship and MADE Mentorship Programs.
In addition, the Senior Manager, Talent Programs will be responsible for helping to maintain the AEF’s CRM database.
Responsibilities
Lead the execution of two key programs aimed at bringing industry speakers into the classroom, which involves:
Campus Speakers Program
- Speaker identification – match professor interest with speaker capability and manage logistics to ensure a successful visit
- Measurement and optimization – survey visit quality and track key satisfaction metrics over time of professors, students, and the industry participant
- Project management –manage the progress of active in-classroom engagements with professors and senior industry executives, and work with Talent Manager and Team Coordinator to track classroom visits and complete next steps
- Production liaison – work with production agency on the creation of digital video series capturing pre-recorded talks and live Q&A sessions
- CRM database: updating and maintaining database to reflect stakeholder participation in all talent programs
Project Homecoming Program
- Cross collaboration- liaison with the Global CMO Growth Council to coordinate classroom visits with Chief Marketing Officers and senior leaders
- Promote awareness- work with the content team to create visual content to promote campus visits across LinkedIn and Instagram
- Logistics management – provide tailored, premium support to executives by ensuring all logistical, administrative, and operational needs are handled with care and precision, delivering a seamless and exceptional experience at every touchpoint
In collaboration with the Senior Director and Manager, support the Marketing and Advertising Education Internship (MADE) Internship Program, and MADE Mentorship Program, which includes:
- MADE Internship Program: evaluate application materials, interview candidates, answer applicant questions, as needed; recruit new partners through Campus Speakers Programs connections
- MADE Mentorship Program: Recruit new mentors through Campus Speakers programs; send email correspondences to professors to encourage students to participate as mentees
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree plus 5-7 years of experience
- Passion for the AEF’s mission and for fostering marketing and advertising talent, particularly among those with diverse backgrounds
- Highly organized, detailed, accurate with very effective time management skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be proactive, flexible, and enjoy working on a team
- Agency, client-side, or other relevant marketing experience a plus
Salary and Total Rewards Package:
Starting pay range: $70,000 to $80,000, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
