Desert

It was like a giant green umbrella stuck in the ground. It stood about three or four stories tall and at the top it had millions of tiny, green, heart-shaped bits that shielded the sun. When the wind blew, these bits would shiver, shake and rustle. They were green mostly, but every once in a while they turned a bright orange and dropped off. That was a time they called autumn.
