What prompted you to get involved with the AEF and why are you passionate about the future of the industry?

I’m really interested in helping the next generation of talent the same way I’ve been helped in the past and wanted to do anything I could do help bridge the disconnect between the corporate and educational sides.

What is the best career advice you've ever received?

David Stern used to say “everyone is replaceable.” It sounds a bit ominous, but his point was to never rest on your laurels and continue to push yourself to be better.

Who was your favorite professor and why?

Father Richard McGowan at Boston College; He was a challenging Economics professor with the unique ability to push students, while also keeping them engaged and motivated.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

The fact that as the world and our business changes, I have a front row seat to help solve new challenges that arise.

"Our future marketing and advertising leaders are not just looking for a job, they are looking for a meaningful career that will make a positive impact on society."
— Gord McLean, President and CEO at ANA Educational Foundation
