What prompted you to get involved with the AEF and why are you passionate about the future of the industry?

The agency had a relationship AEF and I became more involved through the Race & Ethnicity Project. I’m passionate about the industry’s future because it both reflects cultural norms in order resonate with consumers, but also has the power to help shape how we tell and drive those stories.

What is the best career advice you've ever received?

It seemed too practical at the time, but at my very first job a person who was retiring told me to invest in the 401K. It took me a while to heed the advice.

Who was your favorite professor and why?

I still remember the name, Petracca. Not my favorite professor, but certainly very memorable. He was intense and passionate in his lectures.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

The great thing about my job is that it fuels my curiosity and pushes me to constantly learn and step out of what is familiar, my comfort zones.

"Our future marketing and advertising leaders are not just looking for a job, they are looking for a meaningful career that will make a positive impact on society."
