What prompted you to get involved with the AEF and why are you passionate about the future of the industry?

I taught a number of advertising classes at Parsons early in my career and I find it incredibly exciting when young people want to know more about marketing brands and the art and science behind it.

I’m passionate about the future because there has never been a better time for brands to lead the charge for social and environmental change.

What is the best career advice you've ever received?

Make a decision. Then do everything you can to make sure it is the right one.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

That Marketing truly matters – not just to the reputation of the brand – but also to the financial health of the bank.

"Our future marketing and advertising leaders are not just looking for a job, they are looking for a meaningful career that will make a positive impact on society."
— Gord McLean, President and CEO at ANA Educational Foundation
