What prompted you to get involved with the AEF and why are you passionate about the future of the industry?

I’ve always believed in the importance of investing time in things that personally matter to you. I have always been a champion of development and I obsessed about leaving an impact on the future talent of this industry. I want to be a voice that drives change and helps the industry evolve.

What is the best career advice you've ever received?

“Don’t ever let them see you cry” is still the best career advice to date. This advice helps me keep my emotions in check so I remain calm when I am frustrated or angry. I strongly believe that it is normal and valuable to express emotions, but this advice keeps that expression professional.

Who was your favorite professor and why?

Dr. Gertmeniam, my economics professor. He had an interesting view point on the world and looked at the past to explain the future. It allows me to not forget the past when planning for the future. I spent two weeks in China with him and my classmates and it was an amazing insightful experience.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I love helping people improve their skills and developing a training design strategy. I also enjoy presenting and deliver important content that will leave a lasting impression on their career.

"Our future marketing and advertising leaders are not just looking for a job, they are looking for a meaningful career that will make a positive impact on society."
