HBCU Campus Connect

To better connect marketers and agencies with historically black colleges and universities, the AEF has launched the HBCU Campus Connect program. AEF recruits executives from leading marketing companies and advertising agencies to visit your campus, either virtually or in person, and speak on topics based on professors’ needs (e.g. media, research, IMC). Most visits span two days, allowing executives to engage with students interested in marketing and advertising careers. These visits may include exercises, resume/LinkedIn workshops, and career coaching. Participating companies have committed to offering paid internships for select students, with agency holding companies such as Omnicom, Publicis, and IPG already on board.

In addition, through HBCU Campus Connect, our partners WARC and Cannes Lions will offer your faculty and students free access to educational marketing content, cases, and industry insights to stay current with the latest trends.

If your school is interested in learning more details about how you can get involved, please contact LaTasha Emmanuel.

"Our future marketing and advertising leaders are not just looking for a job, they are looking for a meaningful career that will make a positive impact on society."
