MADE Mentorship

Breaking into the marketing and advertising industry takes more than landing a first job. It takes exposure, relationships, professional development, and access to industry professionals who can help students successfully navigate the path from college to career.

Beginning in Fall 2026, the former MADE Internship and MADE Mentorship programs will come together as one unified, year-round MADE Experience. This new approach is designed to provide students with more continuous support throughout their early career journey, bringing mentorship, professional development, industry exposure, and potential internship opportunities together under one program.

Through the unified MADE Experience, students will build career-ready skills, develop meaningful relationships with industry professionals, explore career pathways, and gain greater exposure to the marketing and advertising industry throughout the year.

The MADE Experience
MADE will provide students with year-round opportunities to learn, connect, and prepare for their careers through:

  • Professional development workshops
  • Career exploration and industry education
  • Networking opportunities with industry professionals
  • Recruiter and executive conversations
  • Resume, LinkedIn, interviewing, and personal branding development
  • One-on-one mentorship opportunities
  • Potential internship opportunities through participating industry partners

Internship opportunities are based on availability and the hiring needs of participating companies and are not guaranteed as part of the MADE Experience.

Mentorship

Industry Professionals

MADE offers industry professionals an opportunity to directly support and develop the next generation of marketing and advertising talent.

From brand strategy and creative direction to media, technology, data and analytics, communications, and more, MADE mentors represent a wide range of disciplines and career paths. advertising

We welcome professionals at all levels who are interested in sharing their experiences, providing career guidance, and helping students navigate the transition from college to career.

Become a MADE Mentor
As a MADE mentor, you can help a student:

  • Explore career paths within marketing and advertising
  • Strengthen their professional confidence
  • Prepare for interviews and networking opportunities
  • Develop their resume, LinkedIn profile, portfolio, and personal brand
  • Navigate the transition from college to the workplace
  • Build meaningful connections within the industry

Mentor registration form will become available in January 2027.

For Students

MADE is designed for college students interested in exploring and pursuing careers in marketing and advertising.

Students will begin their MADE journey with professional development and career-readiness programming before progressing into 1:1 mentorship.

We accept students from freshmen to graduate level into the mentorship program. Please note potential internships are reserved for current juniors (May 2028) and seniors (May 2027)

One-on-one Mentorship

One-on-one mentorship is a core component of the MADE experience.

MADE connects students with marketing and advertising professionals who can provide career guidance, industry insights, encouragement, and practical advice as students prepare to enter the workforce.

Mentor matching will take place during the spring semester, with students and mentors connecting regularly over the course of the mentorship experience.
