What prompted you to get involved with the AEF?

Pay back… remembering those who helped me along the way. No one in my family had worked in advertising, so I really valued the opportunity to hear from those who had real jobs in the industry.

Why are you passionate about the future of the industry?

Creativity is our point of difference, applying art + science to what we do makes a difference. I want to continue to invest in the future.

What is the best career advice you’ve ever received?

Never run away, only run to.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I’m never bored. This is a career that is made for lifetime learning.

What advice would you give to students as they consider entering the industry?

It’s the RBG quote hung in my office: FIGHT for the things you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you.
Fight acknowledges it’s not going to be easy, CARING is part of the gig, and leading the way is imperative.

"Our future marketing and advertising leaders are not just looking for a job, they are looking for a meaningful career that will make a positive impact on society."
